PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 1 MELAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V semester I SD Negeri 1 Melaya tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menerapkan eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian non-equivalent post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Melaya yang berjumlah 75 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes. Tes yang digunakan untuk menjaring data adalah tes hasil belajar IPA. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan satistik deskriptif. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis uji-t, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan model konvensional. Dimana thit > ttabel (4,14>2,000). Dengan demikian berarti pembelajaran model kontekstual berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran kontekstual, hasil belajar.
This study was intended to find out the significance difference of Natural Science learning outcome between the students who attend the learning using contextual learning model based and the students who attend the learning with conventional learning model of the fifth grade elementary students of SD Negeri 1 Melaya academic year 2013/2014. This study belongs to quasi experiment with non-equivalent post test only control group design. The population of this study was all the fifth class students of SD Negeri 1 Melaya were 75 students. The sample of this study was taken from random sampling technique. The instrument used of this study was test. The data of students’ learning outcomes were collected by using test. The test came from the outcome learning of Natural Science. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistic were analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis and t-test. Based on the analysis result using t-test analysis, there was a significance learning outcomes different between the group of students who learned using contextual learning model and the group of students who learned using conventional learning model. The result was indicated thit > ttable (4,14 >2,000). It means that contextual learning model gave positive influence to the learning outcome of Natural Science.
