PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SETS (SCIENCE ENVIRONMENT TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY) BERBANTUAN MEDIA QUESTION CARD TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS V SD GUGUS VI MENGWI TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SETS (science environment technology and society) berbantuan media question card dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu menggunakan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD gugus VI Mengwi. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik random sampling dan diperoleh siswa kelas V SDN 5 Kapal yang berjumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SDN 1 Kapal yang berjumlah 41 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes dan non tes. Tes yang digunakan berbentuk pilihan ganda biasa dengan jumlah soal 30 dan non tes yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk mendapatkan nilai afektif. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif (uji-t). Hasil menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SETS (science environment technology and society) berbantuan media question card dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data yakni thitung sebesar 4,138 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5 % dan db = 77 sebesar 2,00 karena thitung > ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SETS (science environment technology and society) berbantuan media question card berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD gugus VI Kapal tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

The purpose of this research is to know the significant differences of the result of learning IPS between the students group which is learned through cooperative model type SETS (science environment technology and society) with question cards than the students which is learned through conventional learning model. This research is an apparent experiment using nonequivalent control group design. The research population is all the students at the fifth grade SD gugus VI Mengwi. The sample was determined by random sampling technique, the fifth grade students of SDN 5 Kapal for about 38 students is chosen as experiment group and the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Kapal for about 41 students is chosen as control group. The data of the results of learning IPS at the fifth grade students are submitted by test and non-test instruments. The test is used multiple choices for about 30 number for each test and for non-test is used observation sheet in order to get affective score. The collected data analyzed by using statistical analysis quantitative descriptive (t-test). Result shows that there are the significant differences of the result of learning IPS between the students group which is learned through cooperative model type SETS (science environment technology and society) with question cards than the students group which is learned through conventional learning model. These can be seen from the data analysis thitung 4.138 and significance percentage of 5% and db=77 numbered 2.00 due to thitung > ttabel accordingly H0 ejected and Ha accepted. So, it can be conclude that the implementation of cooperative learning model type SETS (science environment technology and society) with question cards is influence the result of learning IPS at the fifth grade students of SD gugus VI Mengwi academic year 2013/2014
