PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DENGAN MEDIA COMPACT DISK (CD) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS VA SD NEGERI 1 PENATIH TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dengan media compact disk (CD). Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Penatih tahun ajaran 2013/2014 dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 4 kali pertemuan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kuesioner dan metode tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, penelitian ini menyimpulkan terjadi peningkatan keaktifan siswa,ini bisa dilihat dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 67,06 dengan persentase 34,4% pada siklus I dan 80,28 dengan persentase 84,3% pada siklus II. Selain itu terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata kelas siklus I dan siklus II dari 67,68 menjadi 74,56. Dilihat dari ketuntasan siswa dengan jumlah 32 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian, 28 siswa atau 87,5% dinyatakan berhasil dan 4 siswa atau 12,5% dikategorikan belum berhasil. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STADdengan media compact disk (CD) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Penatih.

The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of student learning outcomes in teaching science through the implementation of cooperative learning model of Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type with media compact disk (CD). The design of this study is classroom action research which was conducted to the class VA SD N 1 Penatih in academic year 2013/2014 that consists of 32 students. This study was conducted in two cycles which was consisted of 4 meetings. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative Data collection method which was used is questionnaire method and achievement test method. Based on the results of data processing, the study concluded that there was an increasing students 'responses, it can be seen from the increasing students' average score of 67.06 with the percentage of 34.4% in cycle I and 80.28 with the percentage of 84.3% in cycle I. Besides, there were increasing average score of the class in cycle I and cycle I from 67.68 into 74.56. Judging from the number of student mastery of 32 students who became the subject of the study, 28 students, or 87.5% declared successful and 4 students or 12.5% categorized not succeeded yet. It could be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of STAD type by using compact disc media (CD) could improved science learning outcomes of the fithth grade students of SD N 1 Penatih.
