PENGARUH PENDEKATAN I2M3 TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV SEMESTER GANJIL SD DI GUGUS I BANYUNING

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan I2M3 dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan konvensional pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan Post test-Only Control Group Design dan sampel sebanyak 184 orang yang diambil secara random. Data tentang perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui instrument tes hasil belajar dengan bentuk tes obyektif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (Uji-t).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) prestasi belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan I2M3 dengan X ̅ = 19,52 berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) prestasi belajar siswa kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional dengan X ̅ = 14,5 berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan I2M3 dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus I Banyuning. Hal ini dilihat dari rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih besar dari rata-rata kelompok kontrol (X ̅_E=19,52> X ̅_K=14,5). Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan I2M3 lebih berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional.

This study aims to determine : the difference between the learning outcomes of students who learn to approach I2M3 and groups of students who studied with conventional approaches to teaching science . Is classified as a quasi-experimental study ( quasi experiment ) with Post - test Only Control Group Design and sample of 184 people taken at random . Data on differences in student learning outcomes were collected through achievement test instrument to form an objective test . The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis ( t-test ) . Results showed that : ( 1 ) student achievement follows the experimental group learning approach I2M3 with X ̅ = 19.52 at the high category , ( 2 ) student achievement of learning control group that followed the conventional approach with X ̅ = 14.5 are in the medium category , and ( 3 ) there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between students who take science learning with I2M3 approach with students who take lessons with conventional approaches to the fourth grade students in Cluster I Banyuning . It is seen from the average of the experimental group is greater than the average of the control group ( X _E = 19.52 > X ̅_K = 14.5 ) . Significant difference indicates that the application of the approach I2M3 more positive effect on students' science learning outcomes compared with conventional approaches.
