PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN RME (REALISTIC MATHEMATIC EDUCATION) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk peningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar No. 3 Kayupuih Melaka terhadap penerapan RME. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar No. 3 Kayuputih Melaka tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan dan tes. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan RME dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Pada refleksi awal rata-rata skor hasil belajar matematika siswa yaitu 50 yang berada dalam kategori sangat rendah. Pada siklus I rata-rata skor hasil belajar matematika siswa menjadi 65 dan berada pada kategori sedang. Persentase peningkatan rata-rata skor hasil belajar matematika dari refleksi awal ke siklus I sebesar 15%. rata-rata skor hasil belajar matematika siswa pada siklus II adalah 81 dan berada pada kategori tinggi. Persentase peningkatan rata-rata skor dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 16%.Kata Kunci : RME, hasil belajar metematika siswa.
This research aims to enhance students ' math learning outcomes grade IV elementary school No.3 Kayupuih Melaka against application of the RME. This research is research conducted in class actions in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of the Planning Act, the implementation of measures, observation and evaluation and reflection. The subject of this study are grade IV elementary school No. 3 Melaka Kayuputih academic year 2012/2013, amounting to 30 people. The research methods used in this study were collected with use and test. Data that has been collected then analyzed using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the approach can improve learning outcomes RME mathematics students. Initial reflections on the average score students ' math learning outcomes i.e. 50 who are in the categories is very low. On the I-cycle average score in mathematics learning result of students being 65 and is at a medium category. The percentage increase in the average score in mathematics learning outcomes of early reflections to the cycle I by 15%. the average score in mathematics learning result of students in cycle II is 81 and sits on a high category. The percentage increase in the average score from I to II cycle cycle by 16%.
