PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK BERBANTUAN MEDIA LINGKUNGAN DAPAT MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD N 1 KUKUH TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) meningkatkan keaktifan belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan Pendekatan matematika Realistik. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SDN. 1 Kukuh tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 berjumlah 45 orang. Tindakan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Siklus I dan II masing-masing terdiri atas 3 pertemuan. Setiap pertemuanya dimulai dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data keaktifan belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, sedangkan data hasil belajar matematika dikumpulkan dengan tes. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan peningkatan hasil ditunjukkan dalam persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar dalam mata pelajaran Matematika pada siswa kelas IV SDN. 1 Kukuh tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Persentase keaktifan dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan 5%, sedangkan persentase hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan 4,2%. Hal ini dapat dilihat peningkatan persentase keaktifan pada siklus I yakni 77,5% dan persentase kaktifan sikus II yakni 82,5%. Persentase hasil belajar siklus I yakni 73,4% dan persentase hasil belajar pada siklus II yakni 77,6%. Dengan hasil ini, disarankan kepada semua guru kelas di Sekolah Dasar hendaknya menggunakan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik dalam pembelajaran matematika.

The purpose of this study was to (1) increase the activity of students 'mathematics learning approach through the implementation of Realistic Mathematics, (2) improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of mathematical Realistic Approach. The design of this study was Classroom Action Research with research subjects Elementary School fourth grade students. 1 Strong academic year 2012/2013 amounted to 45 people. Actions carried out in 2 cycles. Cycle I and II each consist of 3 meetings. Each begins with her meeting the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collected by the liveliness of student learning using observation sheets, while the mathematics learning outcomes data collected with the test. Collected data were analyzed with descriptive-quantitative results indicated an increase in the percentage. The results suggest the application of Realistic Mathematics approach can improve the activity and learning outcomes in Mathematics in Elementary School fourth grade students. 1 Strong academic year 2012/2013. The percentage of activity from the first cycle to the second cycle increased 5%, while the percentage of learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle increased 4.2%. It can be seen an increase in the percentage of activity in the first cycle that is 77.5% and the percentage of kaktifan sikus II, namely 82.5%. The percentage of first cycle of learning outcomes ie 73.4% and the percentage of learning outcomes in the second cycle which is 77.6%. With these results, it is suggested to all classroom teachers in elementary schools should use the approach in mathematics learning Realistic Mathematics.
