IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VAK BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IVB SD NO 2 BANYUASRI

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IVB semester I SD No 2 Banyuasri, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB yang berjumlah 35 orang, terdiri dari 13 orang laki-laki dan 22 orang perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data mempergunakan metode tes berupa tes obyektif dan esai. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan metode analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran VAK berbantuan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa sebesar 9,57%. Hasil belajar IPA siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70,57% dengan kriteria sedang, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 80,14% dengan kriteria tinggi. Sedangkan, ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 71,43% dengan kriteria sedang, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,43% pada siklus II menjadi 82,86% dengan kriteria tinggi. .Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran VAK, media AUDIO VISUAL, hasil belajar IPA
Abstract This study aims at determining the increase of results of semester I students in grade (IVB) in learning science (IPA) in SD No 2 Banyuasri, sub district Buleleng, Buleleng Regency, in the academic year of 2012/2013. This type of research is action-based research which consists of 2 cycles. Each cycles consists of four stages, they are planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subject of this research was the students of class IVB. The number of students in the class was 35; consisting of 13 males and 22 females. Data collection methods used in this research is test method, consisting of objective test and essay. Learning outcomes data were obtained and analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative methods. The results showed that through VAK learning model with audio visual as learning media, it improved learning outcomes by 9,57%. The results of the first cycle of students studying Science (IPA) was 70,57% which is considered to be moderate, has increased on the second cycle to be 80,14% which is considered high. Meanwhile, classical mastery learning in the first cycle of 71,43% which is considered to be moderate, has increased to be 11,43% on the second cycle to be 82,86% which is considered high.
