MODEL PEMBELAJARAN RECIPROCAL TEACHING BERNUANSA PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERPENGARUH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching bernuansa pendidikan karakter dan siswa yang mengikuti dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV Gugus Raden Ajeng Kartini Denpasar Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Non eqivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV Gugus Raden Ajeng Kartini Denpasar Barat tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 540 orang siswa. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling yang diacak adalah kelasnya untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan hasil pengundian yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 19 Pemecutan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 50 orang siswa dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 15 Pemecutan sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 47 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes jenis objektif bentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thit = 2,03 > ttab = 1,980 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching bernuansa pendidikan karakter dan siswa yang mengikuti dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen = 76,64 > = 72,25 pada kelompok kontrol. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching bernuansa pendidikan karakter berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas IV Gugus Raden Ajeng Kartini Denpasar Barat.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching, pendidikan karakter, Pembelajaran Konvensional, Hasil Belajar Matematika.
This research was aimed to know the significant differences of mathematic learning result between students who were taught by using Reciprocal Teaching learning model nuanced character education with students who learned with the conventional learning in fourth grade SD Gugus Raden Ajeng Kartini West Denpasar District of academic year 2013/2014. Kind of this research was a quasi-experimental study with research design that is used is Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research were all students of fifth grade in SD Gugus Raden Ajeng Kartini West Denpasar District of academic year 2013/2014 as many as 540 students. The samples was selected by using random sampling technique where some classes were randomized to determine the eksperimental group and control group. After randoming those classes, 50 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 19 Pemecutan were determined as eksperimental group and 47 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Pemecutan were determined as control group. The data in this research was collected by giving objective test in the form of multiple choice to the eksperimental and control group. The collected data was analyzed by using statistic descriptive analysis and infertial statistic (t-test).The result of data analysis showed that tcount = 2,03 > ttable 1,980 with 5% significance level. The finding reveald that, there is a significant effect on mathematic learning result between students who were taught by using Reciprocal Teaching learning model nuanced character education with students who learned with the conventional learning, and mean score of eksperimental group also showed = 76,64, it is bigger than the mean score of control group which was = 72,25. Therefore, it can be conclude that Reciprocal Teaching learning model nuanced character education has obvious effect toward mathematic learning result of fourth grade students at SD Gugus Raden Ajeng Kartini West Denpasar District.
