MODEL ACCELERATED LEARNING BERBASIS EKSPERIMEN BERPENGARUH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS V TAMPAKSIRING

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model Accelerated Learning berbasis eksperimen dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD gugus V Tampaksiring tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus V Tampaksiring, sebanyak 192 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknil random sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 64 siswa yang terdiri dari seluruh siswa kelas VA SDN 1 Pejeng sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SDN 3 Pejeng sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar IPA dalam bentuk objektif tipe pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model Accelerated Learning berbasis eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t juga memperoleh hasil thitung = 7,923 dan t tabel = 2,00, karena thitung > ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan anatara hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti model Accelerated Learning berbasis eksperimen dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Accelerated Learning berbasis eksperimen berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD gugus V Tampaksiring tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : model Accelerated Learning berbasis eksperimen, hasil belajar IPA
This study aims to determine the differences in sciences learning outcomes of students who take lesson with models of Accelerated Learning based experiment that follow the conventional learning in the fifth grade elementary school students group V Tampaksiring of academic years 2013/2014. This research was a quasi experimental study with a research design that nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study wee all students of fifth gradein elementary school students group V Tampaksiring, as many as 192 students. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique, in order to obtains as many as 64 students throughtout the VA grade students at SDN 1 Pejeng as the experimental group and fifth grade students at SDN 3 Pejeng as the control group. The data collected by the test method. The test use is the science achievement test in the form of multiple choice objective type. Data were analyzed using t-test analysis. The results showed that, the average value learning outcomes students who take models of Accelerated Learning based experiments is higher than the average value students learning outcomes that follow the conventional learning. Hypothesis testing using t test also obtain the results of tcount = 7.923 and ttable = 2.00, because of tcount > ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This proves that there are significant differences science learning outcomes of students who take models of Accelerated Learning based experiments between students who take conventional learning. It can be concluded that the application of the models of Accelerated Learning based experiments affect learning outcomes fifth grade students of elementary school science cluster V Tampaksiring of academic year 2013/2014.
