PENGARUH MODEL CORE BERBANTUAN MEDIA MANIPULATIF TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan media manipulatif dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post test only control group design. Dengan populasinya yaitu seluruh kelas IV SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng dengan jumlah 182 orang. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dengan soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 30 butir. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji-t independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan media manipulatif dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (thitung=4,65; ttabel=1,98). Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran CORE berbantuan media manipulatif memperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar 75,5 berada pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional memperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar 60,03 berada pada kategori sedang. Jadi model pembelajaran CORE berbantuan media manipulatif berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika.

The purpose this research is to recognize difference results between mathematics students who followed the CORE model learning aided manipulative media and the students who followed the conventional model learning. This research is quasi experimental research with post test design only with non equivalent control group design. The populations are all class IV of Group IV Buleleng regency Elementary School which students amount 182 peoples. The sample this research is determined by random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using multiple-choice tests totaled 30 points. The data were analyses using descriptive statistic and independent t-test. The result of this research shows the difference result between studenst follow CORE model learning aid manipulative media and students follow conventional model learning (tarithmetic=4.65; ttable=1.98). Average score of students who follow CORE model learning aid manipulative media is 75.5 considered to be high category. Whereas students who follow the conventional learning model is 60,03 considered to be intermediate category. So, research CORE model learning aid manipulative media is preponderate for the result of the mathematics.
