PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CHILDREN LEARNING IN SCIENCE (CLIS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD DI GUGUS III KECAMATAN BUSUNGBIU KABUPATEN BULELENG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran CLIS dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV di gugus III Kecamatan Busungbiu, Kabupaten Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas IV di Gugus III Kecamatan Busungbiu yang berjumlah 147 orang. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 29,305 sedangkan ttabel dengan db = 33 dan taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,0357. Hal ini berarti bahwa thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran CLIS dan kelompok siswa yang yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV di Gugus III. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran CLIS berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di gugus III Kecamatan Busungbiu,Kabupaten Buleleng pada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Hasil belajar IPA, Model Pembelajaran CLIS
Problem of this research was students low natural science learning result in fourth grade. This research was purposed to know the difference of natural science learning result between the group of student who was taught by using CLIS teaching model and the group of student who was taught by conventional teaching model in the fourth grade students of elementary school in cluster three of Buleleng district, Buleleng regency in 2013/2014 school year. This research type was a quasi experiment with nonequivalent posttest only control group design. This research population was fourth grade in cluster three of Busungbiu district which consisted of 147 students. The sample of this research was choosen by random sampling technique. The data of natural science learning result were collected by using double helix test that was analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis and inferential statistics that was t-test. Based on t-test calculation is obtained tcount equal to 29,305 while ttable with db= 33 and level of significance 5% is 2,0357. That meant tcount is bigger than ttable. The result indicated that there was difference of natural science learning result between group of student who were taught by using CLIS teaching model and group of student who were taught by using conventional teaching model. Thus, can concluded that CLIS teaching model have an effect to the natural science learning result of fourth grade students of elementary school in cluster three of Busungbiu district, Buleleng regency in 2013/2014 school year.
