PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TUNTAS (MASTERY LEARNING) BERBANTUAN MEDIA POWERPOINT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 2 TIBUBENENG KUTA UTARA-BADUNG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran tuntas (mastery learning) berbantuan media powerpoint dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng Kuta Utara-Badung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Populasi meliputi seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng yang berjumlah 106 siswa. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil pengundian diperoleh siswa kelas VB sebagai kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 35 orang dan siswa kelas VA sebagai kelompok kontrol berjumlah 36 orang. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan metode tes jenis objektif bentuk soal pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, rata-rata hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran tuntas (mastery learning) berbantuan media powerpoint lebih besar dari siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional (80,2>68,7). Demikian pula hasil analisis uji hipotesis diperoleh thit = 4,54, sedangkan pada taraf signifikan 5% (dk = 35+ 36–2=69) diperoleh ttabel = 2,000. Dengan demikian nilai thitung > ttabel (4,54 > 2,000) sehingga Ho ditolak. Maka dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran tuntas (mastery learning) berbantuan media powerpoint dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran tuntas (mastery learning) berbantuan media powerpoint berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS Siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Tuntas (Mastery Learning), Powerpoint, Hasil Belajar IPS
This research aims to know the significant difference between the IPS subject study results of students who complete learning model through mastery learning using powerpoint with media groups of students learning through conventional in students of class V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng North Kuta-Badung. This research is quasi experimental research design with Nonequivalent Control Group design. The population covers the entire grade V in SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng which are 106 students. Determination of samples is carried out by random sampling technique, which is contrary to the class to specify the experimental group and control group. The results of the draw obtained for the students classes VB as experimental groups consists of 35 students and grade VA consists of 36 students. A method of data collection used the method of objective type tests are multiple choice question form. Data that has been collected is analyzed using statistical analysis method of inferensial (test-t). Based on the result analysis of data, the average results obtained studying IPS V taught through the mastery learning model using powerpoint media assisted more than students who are learning through conventional (80,2 > 68,7). A similarly the test hypothesis analysis results obtained ttest = 4.54, while at 5% significance (dk = 35+36-2=69) obtained ttable = 2,000. Thust ttest >ttabel (4,54 > 2,000) which mean Ho rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference study result of IPS subject between a group of students who taught through the mastery learning model using powerpoint with a group of students who taught through learning conventional. Thus it can be concluded that the mastery learning model assisted with powerpoint media influence significantly to learning outcomes IPS subject grade V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng.
