MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CHILDREN’S LEARNING IN SCIENCE BERBANTUAN PETA KONSEP BERPENGARUH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS 4 WIDYASMARA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran Children’s Learning In Science (CLIS) berbantuan peta konsep dengan siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Widyasmara Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Widyasmara Kecamatan Klungkung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 223 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Setelah diundi terpilih SDN 1 Semarapura Klod sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SDN 3 Semarapura Klod sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar IPA bentuk objektif tipe pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung = 3.39 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan derajat kebebasan (db) = 58 adalah 2.00. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian thitung > ttabel (3.39>2.00), maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran CLIS berbantuan peta konsep dengan siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPA yang diperoleh antara siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran CLIS berbantuan peta konsep lebih besar dari siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional (86>79). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Children’s Learning In Science (CLIS) berbantuan peta konsep berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Widyasmara Kecamatan Klungkung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.

This study aims to determine the differences of science studies learning outcomes between students that learned using Children’s Learning In Science model based concept’s map with students who learned with the conventional learning in fifth grade SD Gugus 4 Widyasmara Klungkung District of academic year 2013/2014. This research was type of a quasi experimental research designed with nonequivalent control group design.The population in this study were all students of fifth grade Elementary School Gugus 4 Widyasmara Klungkung District of academic year 2013/2014 which consist of 223 students. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique. The experiment group is Semarapura Klod 1 Elementary School and the control group is Semarapura Klod 3 Elementary School.The data collected is the learning outcomes of science studies which is test methode. Data were analyzed by t-test. Based on the t-test result obtained tcount = 3.39 and ttable (α= 0,05, 58) =2.000. Based on the testing criteria that tcount>ttable (3.39>2.00) then H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The results showed that there were significant differences of science studies learning outcomes between students that learned through implementing CLIS model based concept’s map with students who learned with the conventional learning. The average of science studies learning outcomes between students who learned with the CLIS model based concept’s map higher than students who learned with the conventional learning (86>79). It can be concluded that the Children’s Learning In Science model based concept’s map against the learning outcomes of science studies fifth grade students in Elementary School Gugus 4 Widyasmara Klungkung District of academic year 2013/2014.
