PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ADVANCE ORGANIZER BERBASIS OPERANT CONDITIONING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS LETKOL WISNU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran advance organizer berbasis operant conditioning dan siswa yang mengikuti dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V di Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Non Equvalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 338 orang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling yang diacak adalah kelasnya untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan hasil pengundian yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Peguyangan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 34 orang siswa dan siswa kelas V SD No. 10 Peguyangan sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 34 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes jenis objekktif bentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thit = 6,83 > ttab = 2,000 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran advance organizer berbasis operant conditioning dan siswa yang mengikuti dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen = 80,92 > = 63,28 pada kelompok kontrol. Oleh sebab itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran advance organizer berbasis operant conditioning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V di Gugus Letkol Wisnu Kecamatan Denpasar Utara.Kata Kunci : Kata-kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Advance Organizer berbasis Operant Conditioning, Pembelajaran Konvensional, dan Hasil Belajar IPA.
This research was aimed to know the significant diference of SAINS learning result between students who were taught by using Advance Organizer learning model on Operant Conditioining basis and students who joined conventional learning model on the fifth grade at Gugus Letkol Wisnu, Denpasar Utara subdistrict in academic year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi-experimental study with research design Non Equvalent Control Group Design. The population of this research was 338 fifth grade students at Gugus Letkol Wisnu, Denpasar Utara subdistrict in academic year 2013/2014 and the sample was selected by using random sampling technique where some classes were randomed to determine the expreimental group and control group. After randoming those classes, 34 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Peguyangan were determined as experimental group and 34 fifth grade students of SD No, 10 Peguyangan were determined as control group. The data in this research was collected by giving objective test in the form of multiple choiche to the experimental and control group. The collected data was analyzed by using statistic descriptive analysis and infertial statistic (t-test). The result of data analysis showed that thit = 6,83 > ttab = 2,000 with significance level 5%. The finding reveald that there is a significant effect on SAINS learing result between group who was taught by using Advance Organizer learning model on Operant Conditioning basis and group who was taught by using conventional learning model, and mean score of experimental group was = 80,92, it is bigger than the mean score of control group which was = 63,28. Therefore, it can be conclude that Advance Organizer learning model on Operant Conditioning basis has obvious effect toward SAINS learning result of fifth grade students at Gugus Letkol Wisnu, Denpasar Utara subdistric.
