PENGARUH MODEL BRAIN BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA GRAFIS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI GUGUS LETDA KAJENG

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Brain Based Learning berbantuan media grafis dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Letda Kajeng Denpasar Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Letda Kajeng Denpasar Utara yang terdiri dari 359 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil belajar IPS yang berupa nilai kognitif. Nilai kognitif yang dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dalam pilihan ganda biasa. Data dianalisis dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Brain Based Learning berbantuan media grafis dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t didapat thitung = 3,407 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% = 2,000. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian thitung > ttabel (3,407 > 2,000) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Rata-rata hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Brain Based Learning berbantuan media grafis lebih dari siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional (75,142 > 65,5). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Brain Based Learning berbantuan media grafis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS Siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gugus Letda Kajeng Denpasar Utara.

This study purposed to determine the significant differences in social learning outcomes between students taught by using brain based learning model graphic media assisted with students that studied by using conventional learning on fifth grade of elementary students in Gugus Letda Kajeng Denpasar Utara. This study was a quasi experimental with the study design used was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is all of fifth grade of elementary students in Gugus Letda Kajeng Denpasar Utara which consisted of 359 students. Sample was taken by using random sampling technique. The data collected was the result of social learning, which is the cognitive value. Cognitive scores that collected was by using the result of test in regular multiple choice. The data was analyzed by using t-test. The result of study shows that there are significant differences in social learning output between students taught by using brain based learning model graphic media assisted with students taught by using conventional learning. Based on the t-test results obtained tvalue = 3,407, at a significance level of 5% ttable = 2,00 is obtained. Based on the testing criteria tvalue > ttable (3,407 > 2,000) so H0 denied and Ha be accepted. On the average the social learning outcomes of fifth grade students taught by using brain based learning model graphic media assisted is more than students taught by using conventional learning (75,142 > 65,5). It can be concluded that brain based learning model graphic media assisted significantly influences toward social learning outcomes on fifth grade of elementary students in Gugus Letda Kajeng Denpasar Utara.
