PENGARUH MODEL POE DAN MINAT BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan mengenai rendanya hasil belajar IPA yang ditunjukan dengan rata-rata 76,32%. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model POE dan kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional, (2) Pengaruh interaksi model pembjaran dengan minat belajar, (3) perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa mengikuti model POE dan model konvensional pada siswa yang memilkii minat belajar tinggi, (4) perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model POE dan model konvensionalpada siswa yang memiliki minat rendah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V di Gugus VI Kecamatan Tegallalang yang berjumlah 106 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik random sampling yakni berjumlah 72 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes objektif dan data minat belajar dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner minat belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis anava 2 jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model POE dan model konvensional, (2) terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran dengan minat belajar, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara model POE dan model konvensional pada kelompok siswa minat tinggi, (4) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara model POE dan model konvensional pada siswa minat rendah. Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran POE dan minat belajar memberikan pengaruh signifikan yang terhadap hasil belajar IPA.

The research that about low science result studenst so that the purpose of this research was to recognize (1) the differences science result between students who were taught by POE learning model and the students who were taught by conventional learning model, (2) interaction impact between learning model and interest in learning, (3) the differences science result of students who had high interest in learning by POE learning of convensionl learning model , (4) the differences science result of students who had low interest in learning with the convensional learning model. This research is a quasi experimental research using post test design only with non equivalent control group design. The research population was all students in grade V which belong to Elementary School Gugus VI Kecamatan Tegallalang, with the total 106 students. The samples were determined by using random sampling technique with the total 72 students. In collecting the data, the writer uses objective test and questionnaire. The objective test was used to collect the result of study and the questionnaire was used to collect the interest in learning data. The data were analysed using an ANAVA two section. The result of this research showed that : (1) there were the differences science result between the students that taught by POE learning model and impact students that taught by conventional learning model, (2) there were interaction between learning model and interest in learning through science result. 3) The student which is in high interest in learning group, there were differences science result between the students that taught with POE learning model and those that taught by conventional learning model, 4) The student which is in low interest in learning group, there were differences between the students that taught by POE learning model and those that taught by conventional learning model.
