Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Berbantuan Bahan Ajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Kelas V Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) berbantuan bahan ajar dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Jumlah populasi di SD Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur adalah 307 siswa, sedangkan jumlah sampel adalah 67 siswa yang dipilih secara random kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan observasi. Didapat rata-rata hasil belajar IPS yaitu M1= 81,32 (kelas eksperimen) dan M2= 76,31 (kelas kontrol). Selanjutnya data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis uji-t. Dari hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thit = 2,159 sedangkan ttab= 2,000 Berarti hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) berbantuan bahan ajar dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu dilihat dari rata-ratanya bahwa nilai hasil belajar IPS siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) berbantuan bahan ajar lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar IPS siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) berbantuan bahan ajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur.

The purpose of this study was to determine the significant differences between the results of social studies students who take the STAD cooperative learning model ( Student Teams Achievement Division ) assisted teaching materials with students who take conventional learning in class V Force Budi Utomo East Denpasar . This research was a quasi-experimental study ( quasi experiment ) with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Total population in the SD cluster Budi Utomo East Denpasar is 307 students , while the sample size is 67 students randomly selected class . Data was collected through testing and observation method . The average results obtained social studies , namely M1 = 81.32 ( experimental class ) and M2 = 76.31 ( control class ) . Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed by t-test analysis techniques . From the results of t-test analysis was obtained thit = 2.159 = 2.000 Mean while ttab results revealed that there were differences in learning outcomes between students who take the IPS model of cooperative learning STAD ( Student Teams Achievement Division ) assisted teaching materials to students who take conventional learning . In addition to the views of the average value of the results of social studies that students who take cooperative learning model STAD ( Student Teams Achievement Division ) assisted instructional materials better than the IPS learning outcomes of students who take conventional learning . This means there is the influence of the application of cooperative learning model STAD ( Student Teams Achievement Division ) assisted instructional materials on learning outcomes IPS elementary school fifth grade students Force Budi Utomo East Denpasar.
