PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD DI GUGUS V KECAMATAN KUBUTAMBAHAN, KABUPATEN BULELENG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus V Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 dengan jumlah populasi 128 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah SD No. 4 Tamblang yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa dan SD No. 6 Tamblang yang berjumlah 19 orang siswa. Sampel diambil dengan cara random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA. Bentuk tes hasil belajar IPA yang digunakan adalah pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Konvensional. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh (thitung = 5,5 > ttabel = 2,042) dan di dukung oleh perbedaan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) yaitu 25,6, yang berada pada kategori baik dan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 18,89 yang berada pada kategori cukup. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dengan siswa yang belajar mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus V Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng. Jadi, model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA.

This research aimed to determine differences in Science learning outcomes significantly between groups of students who take Cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) and a group of students who take conventional learning models.This research is a quasi experimental study. The population of this study are all 5th grade elementary school students in Cluster V Kubutambahan Buleleng District of academic year 2013/2014 with a population of 128 students. The sample of Elementary School was SD 4 Tamblang totaling 20 students and SD 6 Tamblang totaling 19 students. Samples were taken by random sampling. The data collected in this research is the result of learning Science. Form of Science achievement test which used a multiple choice. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there are differences in Science learning outcomes significantly between groups of students who take Cooperative learning model of type Group Investigation (GI) with a group of students who take conventional learning models. This is indicated by (thitung = 5,5 > ttabel = 2,042) and is supported by the difference in the average score by the students who take the Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation (GI) is 25.6 which is in the best category, and students who learn using conventional learning models 18.89 which is in the pretty category. This means that there is a difference in student significantly learning outcomes between groups of students who are learning using cooperative learning models of type Group Investigation and students who are learning to follow the conventional model of learning in the 5th grade elementary school students in the District V Cluster Kubutambahan Buleleng regency. Thus, a model of type Group Investigation Cooperative learning affects students' learning outcomes in Science learning.
