PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SAVI BERBASIS OPEN ENDED TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS III SUKAWATI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, And Intellectualy (SAVI) berbasis Open Ended dan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Sukawati tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Sukawati yang berjumlah 196 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Negeri 3 Batuan sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas V SD Negeri 2 Batuan Kaler sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing kelompok sebanyak 30 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes bentuk essay. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik uji-t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran SAVI berbasis Open Ended dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t didapat thitung = 3.15 dan ttabel(α = 0.05, 58) = 2.00. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian thitung = 3.15 > ttabel = 2.00 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Rata-rata hasil belajar matematika yang diperoleh antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran SAVI berbasis Open Ended = 72.42 > = 66.75 siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran SAVI berbasis Open Ended berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan SukawatiKata Kunci : model pembelajaran SAVI, open ended, hasil belajar matematika
The purpose of this study was to find out the significant differences of mathematics learning outcomes between students that learned through by implemented Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, And Intellectualy (SAVI) learning model based Open Ended and students who learned through conventional learning in fifth grade SD Gugus III Sukawati District of academic year 2013/2014. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a research design that is used is Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research were all students of fifth grade at SD Gugus III Sukawati District totaling 196 students. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique. The sample in this study is the class V of SD Negeri 3 Batuan as the experimental group and class V of SD Negeri 2 Batuan Kaler as a control group, which is the total of each group of 30 person. Data collection method used is an essay test method. Data were analyzed by t-test statistical analysis. The results showed that there were significant differences of mathematics learning outcomes between students that learned through by implemented SAVI learning model based Open Ended with students who learned through conventional learning. Based on the t-test results obtained tcount = 3.15 and ttable(α = 0.05, 58) = 2.00. Based on the testing criteria that tcount = 3.15 > ttable = 2.00 then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The average of mathematics leraning outcomes between students who learned through SAVI learning model based Open Ended = 72.42 > = 66.75 students who learned through conventional learning. It can be concluded that the SAVI learning model based Open Ended significant influence againts the mathematics learning outcomes on fifth grade students in SD Gugus III District of Sukawati
