Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbasis Reinforcement Berbantuan Bahan Ajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berbasis reinforcement berbantuan bahan ajar dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus II Petang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas V SD Gugus II Petang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 143 orang siswa. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil pengundian yaitu siswa kelas VA SD No. 1 Petang sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa dan siswa kelas V SD No. 1 Pangsan sebagai kelompok kontrol yang berjumlah 33 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes jenis objektif bentuk pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t didapat thitung = 3,03 dan ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% = 1,99. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian thitung > ttabel (3,03>1,99) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Rerata hasil belajar IPS yang diperoleh antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berbasis reinforcement berbantuan bahan ajar lebih besar dari siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional (80,54>75,30). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berbasis reinforcement berbantuan bahan ajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus II Petang.

This study aims to determine the differences of social studies outcomes between students who learned by implementing Guided Inquiry learning model based reinforcement assisted teaching materials with students who learned by the conventional learning at fifth grade elementary school at Gugus II Petang in 2013/2014 academic year. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a research design that is used is Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research were all students at fifth grade elementary school at Gugus II Petang in 2013/2014 academic year. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. The drawing result were the VA grade students of SD No. 1 Petang as experimental group with 32 students and the fifth grade students of SD No. 1 Pangsan as control group with 33 students.The collecting data method in this research used objective test method with regular multiple choice. The data which had been collected was analyzed by t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences of social science learning outcomes between students who learned by implementing Guided Inquiry learning model based reinforcement with students who learned by conventional learning. Based on the t-test results obtained tcount = 3.03 and ttable at the 5% significance level = 1.99. Based on the testing criteria that tcount > ttable (3.03 > 1.99) so H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The average of social studies outcomes of students who learned by Guided Inquiry learning model based reinforcement assisted teaching materials higher than students who learned by conventional learning (80.54 > 75.30). It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model Guided Inquiry based reinforcement significant influence against the outcomes of social studies at fifth grade elementary school at Gugus II Petang.
