STRATEGI BELAJAR PQ4R BERPENGARUH TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS V GUGUS I GUSTI NGURAH RAI DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil keterampilan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan strategi belajar Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (Pq4r) dan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Barat. Melalui teknik random sampling didapat sampel siswa yaitu kelas V SDN 6 Padangsambian yang berjumlah 50 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SDN 18 Padangsambian berjumlah 45 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes berupa hasil keterampilan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil test selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan pengujian statistik yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil keterampilan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan strategi belajar Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (Pq4r) dan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji-t, yakni thit = 5,99 sedangkan ttab pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 93 sebesar 1,99, sehingga thit>ttab. Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 78,66>71,22. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh strategi belajar Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (Pq4r) terhadap hasil keterampilan membaca pemahaman bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai , Denpasar Barat.Kata Kunci : strategi belajar Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (Pq4r), hasil keterampilan membaca pemahaman bahasa Indonesia
This research is aimed to know the significant difference of the study result of Bahasa Indonesia among students who are are taught to use learning strategies Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review ( PQ4R ) and students that learned using conventional learning. This study was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research were all students of class V Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Barat. Random sampling technique get samples V grade of SDN 6 Padangsambian totaling 50 people as the experimental group and V grade of SDN 18 Padangsambian totaling 45 people as a control group. This research data was collected using a test reading comprehension skills results Indonesian. Test results were then analyzed using a statistical test is the t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the results of reading comprehension skills among Indonesian students learning strategies that learned using Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review ( PQ4R ) and students that learned using conventional learning. It can be seen from the results of the t-test, thit = 5.99 while ttab with significance level 5% significance with dk=93, ttab=1.99, so thit>ttab. Students who follow the conventional learning is 78,66 >71.22 . This means that there are significant learning strategies Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) the results of reading comprehension skills of Indonesian students V grade Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar Barat.
