PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE 5E BERBANTUAN PETA KONSEP (CONCEPT MAPPING) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 2 TIBUBENENG BADUNG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E berbantuan peta konsep (concept mapping) dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng yang berjumlah 106 orang. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dengan hasil pengundian yaitu siswa kelas VB sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 35 orang dan siswa kelas VA sebagai kelompok kontrol yang berjumlah 36 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes jenis objektif bentuk soal pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E berbantuan peta konsep (concept mapping) lebih besar dari siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional (83,57>73,71). Serta melalui uji hipotesis diperoleh thit = 6,32 ≥ ttabel = 2,000 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Sehingga dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E berbantuan peta konsep (concept mapping) dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E berbantuan peta konsep (concept mapping) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA Siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng Badung.Kata Kunci : Learning cycle 5E, peta konsep (concept mapping), hasil belajar IPA
This research is aimed to find out the significant difference of the result of IPA subject learning between a group of students who learned through learning cycle 5E using concept mapping with a group of students who learned through conventional study in students of class V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng. This research is a pseudo experiment research used Nonequivalent Control Group Design as the research design. The population of this research is the whole students of grade V in SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng which are 106 students. The sample of this research is determined by conducted random sampling technique with the result of the draw which are the students classes VB as the experimental group consists of 35 students and the students classes VA as the control group consists of 36 students. In collecting the data of the research, the method of objective type tests are multiple choice question form is employed. Moreover, the collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis method of inferensial (test-t). Based on the result of the analysis of the data; the average results obtained studying IPA for grade V who learned through learning cycle 5E using concept mapping assisted more than students who learned through conventional study (83,57 > 73,71). As well as the hypothesis testing obtained ttest = 6,32 > t tabel =2,000 on 5% significance. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference study result of IPA subject between a group of students who learned through learning cycle 5E using concept mapping with a group of students who learned through conventional study. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning cycle 5E using concept mapping influence significantly to learning outcomes IPA subject grade V SD Negeri 2 Tibubeneng Badung.
