PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA DENGAN KOVARIABEL KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA KELAS IV SD

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model snowball throwing dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu, Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 antara siswa yang mengikuti model snowball throwing dan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional setelah kovariabel kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dikendalikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain non equivalent post test only with control group design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang siswa kelas IV SD 3 Kaliuntu sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 19 orang siswa SD 2 Kaliuntu sebagai kelompok kontrol yang dipilih dengan sistem random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode tes berbentuk uraian. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SD V di SD Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran snowball throwing dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, dan (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model snowball throwing dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional setelah kovariabel berpikir kreatif siswa dikendalikan.Kata Kunci : snowball throwing, hasil belajar, kemampuan berpikir kreatif.
This study aimed to determine : (1) a significant difference between the groups of science learning outcomes of students who learned with snowball throwing models and groups of students who learned with conventional learning, (2) there are significant differences in learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students in gugus X Kaliuntu Kaliuntu, Kecamatan Buleleng Year 2013/2014 among students who follow the model of snowball throwing and a group of students who take conventional learning as covariates to control students' ability to think creatively. This research is a quasi experimental study using a non- equivalent design with a post -test only control group design. Sample size was 20 students of SD 3 Kaliuntu as the experimental group and 19 students of SD 2 Kaliuntu as a control group selected by random sampling methode. Data collected by the test method description form. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of this study found that : (1) there are differences in the results of learning science in elementary school fourth grade students between students who take learning to the learning model with a snowball throwing students who take conventional learning, and ( 2 ) there are differences in the results fourth grade students learn science in gugus X Kelurahan Kaliuntu between students who take lessons with snowball throwing models and students who take the conventional approach after learning the creative thinking of students covariates controlled.
