PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TERBALIK (RECIPROCAL TEACHING) BERBANTUAN MEDIA GRAFIS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SEMESTER II SD GUGUS I GUSTI KETUT JELANTIK

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Terbalik (reciprocal teaching) berbantuan media grafis dengan kelas yang dibelajarkan secara konvensinal pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ketut Jelantik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Non Equvalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ketut Jelantik. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling yang diacak adalah kelasnya untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan hasil pengundian yaitu siswa kelas V SD N 17 Dangin Puri sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa dan kelas V SD N 28 Dangin Puri sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes objektif bentuk pilihan ganda biasa.
Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik uji-t. Hasil pengujian menunjukan ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Terbalik (reciprocal teaching) berbantuan media grafis dengan kelas yang dibelajarkan secara konvensinal. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen X ̅ = 72,56 > X ̅ = 68,53 pada kelas kontrol dan berdasarkan kreteria pengujian thitung = 2,4 > ttabel = 2,000 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Terbalik (reciprocal teaching) berbantuan media grafis berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus I Gusti Ketut Jelantik Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.

This research aimed at knowing the significantly different in reading competency between groups of students’ learning by using reciprocal teaching helped by graphic media with students who involved in conventional learning in grade V of Elementary school students at SD Gugus I Gusti Ketut Jelantik. Type of this study was experimental research used quasi experimental design. The subjects of this research were grade V of Elementary school students at SD Gugus I Gusti Ketut Jelantik. Sample were taken randomly namely, and te result is grade V of Elementary school students at V SD N 17 Dangin Puri as an experimental class with number of the students of each group were 32 students, and grade V of Elementary school students at V SD N 28 Dangin Puri as controlled class with with number of the students of each group were 32 students. The technique used in collecting the data in this research was objective test.
Statistical analysis used to test the research hypothesis was test of different mean (t-test). The analysis showed that there was the significantly different in social study achievement between the students’ learning by using reciprocal teaching helped by graphic media with the students who involved in conventional learning. It was be evidenced with the average score reached in eksperimental class was X ̅ = 72,56 > X ̅ = 68,53 in control class and building on testing criteria that value = 2,4 > table = 2,000 and the result is H0 was ignore and Ha was accept . Based on the result, it can be concluded that the used of reciprocal teaching helped by graphic media influenced the students social study achievement in grade V of Elementary school students at SD Gugus I Gusti Ketut Jelantik.
