PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE WORD SQUARE BERBASIS LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V GUGUS BUDI UTOMO DENPASAR TIMUR TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Word Square Berbasis Lingkungan dengan pembelajaran konvensional kelas V Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi experiment design (desain eksperimen semu) dengan jenis Nonequivalent Control Group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dengan matching yang diacak adalah kelasnya untuk menentukan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen yaitu kelas V SD N 1 Kesiman yang berjumlah 35 orang dan kelompok kontrol yaitu kelas V SD N 8 Kesiman yang berjumlah 35 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes jenis objektif bentuk soal pilihan ganda biasa. Data yang dikumpulkan, dianalisis dengan teknik analisis uji t. Dari hasil analisis uji t diperoleh thit = 3,03 sedangkan ttabel = 2,00 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan X ̅1 = 0,82 sedangkan X ̅2 = 0,55. Terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel (3,03 > 2,00) yang berarti dalam penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe word square berbasis lingkungan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada Kelas V Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Word Square Berbasis Lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada kelas V Gugus Budi Utomo Denpasar Timur Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Word Square Berbasis Lingkungan, Hasil Belajar IPA
This study aims to determine the significant differences in Natural Science learning outcomes between students that learned using the Cooperative Type Word Square Model Based on Environment with students that learned using the conventional learning in fifth grade of Budi Utomo Groups Denpasar Timur academic year 2013/2014. This study is used quasi experiment design with type of nonequivalent control group. The population in this study is a fifth grade elementary school students of Budi Utomo Groups Denpasar Timur. The samples in this study conducted by random sampling technique with matching were randomized class to determine the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group is fifth grade students in SD N 1 Kesiman as many as 35 students and a control group is fifth grade students in SD N 8 Kesiman as a many as 35 students. Data collection methods used in this study is an objective type test are multiple choice question form. The collected data were analyzed by t-test analysis techniques. From the analysis results t-test obtained tcount = 3,03 while ttable = 2,00 at a significance level of 5% and X ̅1 = 0,82 while the X ̅2 = 0,55. Seen that tcount > ttable (3,03 > 2,00), which means that in this study there were significant differences in Natural Science learning outcomes between students that learned using the Cooperative Type Word Square Model Based on Environment with students that learned using the conventional learning in fifth grade of Budi Utomo Groups Denpasar Timur academic year 2013/2014. Thus it can be concluded that the application of Quantum Learning Model Based Multimedia positive effect on student learning outcomes Natural Science in fifth grade of Budi Utomo Groups Denpasar Timur academic year 2013/2014.
