PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN HEURISTIK VEE BERBANTUAN MEDIA KONKRET TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD GUGUS VIII MENGWI TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Heuristik VEE berbantuan Media konkret dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus VIII Mengwi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Gugus VIII Mengwi tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 60 orang. Sampel ditarik dengan menggunakan purposive random sampling dengan jumlah 60 orang sampel. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Heuristik VEE berbantuan media konkret dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil analisis bahwa nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 6,61 > 1,980 pada taraif signifikansi 5% dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 74,5 > 61,70. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Heuristik VEE berbantuan media konkret terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Gugus VIII Mengwi tahun ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, IPA, model pembelajaran Heuristik VEE berbantuan media konkret.
This research aimed at knowing the significantly different in science study between groups of students’ learning by using Heuristik VEE learning helped by concrete media with students who involved in conventional learning in grade IV of Elementary school students at SD Gugus VIII Mengwi. Type of this study was experimental research used quasi experimental design. The subjects of this research were grade IV of Elementary school students at SD Gugus VIII Mengwi. Sample were taken randomly namely, grade IV of Elementary school students at SD N 3 Mengwi as an experimental class with the number of the students of each group were 30 students and grade IV of Elementary school students at SD N 1 Mengwi as controlled class with the number of the students of each group were 30 students. The technique used in collecting the data in this research was objective test. Statistical analysis used to test the research hypothesis was test of different mean (t-test). The analysis showed that there was the significantly different in science study between the students’ learning by using Heuristik Vee learning helped by concrete media with the students who involved in conventional learning. It was be evidenced that the average score reached of experimental class was X ̅ = 74,5 > X ̅ = 61,70 in controlled class. it can be concluded that the used of generative learning helped by power point influenced the students science study in grade IV of Elementary school students at SD VIII Mengwi.
