PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN GENIUS LEARNING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DAN SIKAP ILMIAH SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara pemahaman konsep IPA dan sikap ilmiah siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Genius Learning dan model pembelajaran langsung pada siswa kelas VI SD di Desa Busungbiu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 5 kali pertemuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI SD di desa Busungbiu. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SD No. 6 Busungbiu dan SD No. 8 Busungbiu sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 23 orang siswa serta SD No. 9 Busungbiu sebagai kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 23 orang. Variabel penelitian adalah pemahaman konsep IPA dan sikap ilmiah sebagai variabel terikat serta model pembelajaran Genius Learning dan model pembelajaran langsung sebagai variabel bebas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan kuesioner. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan metode tes untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep dan kuesioner untuk mengetahui sikap ilmiah yang dianalisis menggunakan, statistik deskriptif, SPSS uji-t dan manova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran Genius Learning dan pembelajaran langsung (sig=0,001 < 0,05), (2) terdapat perbedaan sikap ilmiah antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran Genius Learning dan pembelajaran langsung (sig=0,000 < 0,05), (3) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan sikap ilmiah antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran Genius Learning dan pembelajaran langsung (sig=0,000 < 0,05)Kata Kunci : genius learning, pemahaman konsep, sikap ilmiah
This study aims to determine the difference between the understanding of science concepts and scientific attitude of students using the Learning Genius learning model and learning model directly on sixth grade students in the school year 2013/2014 Busungbiu village. This research is a quasi-experiment (quasi-experiment). This study was conducted in 5 sessions. The population in this study were all sixth grade students in the village Busungbiu. Samples were six graders No. 6 Busungbiu and SD No. 8 Busungbiu as the control class consisting of 23 students and elementary school No. 9 Busungbiu as an experimental class consisted of 23 people. Variables research is the understanding of science concepts and scientific attitude as the dependent variable and Learning Genius learning models and learning models directly as independent variables. Data collection was performed by the method of tests and questionnaires. Data were collected using a test method to determine the understanding of the concept and to determine the attitude questionnaire were analyzed using scientific, descriptive statistics, t-test and SPSS manova. The results showed that: (1) there is a difference between understanding the concept of a group of students who learn by Genius Learning learning and direct instruction (sig = 0.001 < 0.05), (2) there is a difference between the scientific attitude with a group of students who study learning and direct instruction Genius Learning (sig = 0.000 < 0.05), (3) there are differences in the understanding of scientific concepts and attitudes among a group of students who learn by Genius Learning learning and direct instruction (sig = 0.000 < 0.05).
