PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INTERACTIVE CONCEPTUAL INTRUCTION (ICI) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Interactive Conceptual Intruction ICI dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Tegallalang Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen semu dengan rancangan post test only with non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas V SD Gugus I Kecamatan Tegallalang Kabupaten Gianyar yang berjumlah 158 orang. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling (undian). Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen test pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (Uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 10,94 dan ttabel (pada taraf signifikansi 5%) = 1,98). Hal ini berarti thitung > ttabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Interactive Conceptual Intruction dan siswa yang belajar dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran pembelajaran dengan model Interactive Conceptual Intruction memperoleh rata-rata skor hasil belajar yaitu = 25,53 berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Sedangkan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional memperoleh skor hasil belajar 19,07 berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi model pembelajaran Interactive Conceptual Intruction berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci : Interactive Conceptual Intruction, IPA, hasil belajar
The purpose of this research was to recognize the differences between the students that taught with ICI learning model and those that taught with conventional learning model at grade V Elementary School Gugus I Kecamatan Tegallalang in academic year 2013/2014. This research was a quasi experimental research using post test design only with non equivalent control group design. The research population was all students in grade V which belong to Elementary School Gugus VI Kecamatan Buleleng, with the total 158 students. The samples were determined by using random sampling technique. In collecting the data, the writer uses test. The data were analysed using a descriptive statistic and inferencial statistic. The result of this research showed that there were the differences between the students taught with ICI learning model and taught with conventional model learning (tvalue = 10,98 ; ttable = 1,98). The average score of the students taught with ICI learning model is 25,53 it is considered to be higher. Whereas those taught with conventional learning model is 19,07 it is considered to be high category. In this research ICI learning model can be considered to be significant in developing student study result.
