IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada proses pembelajaran dengan implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa Kabupaten Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2013/2014, (2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa Kabupaten Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014, sebanyak 17 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif-kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data awal persentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 52,5%, terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 68,48% berada pada katagori aktif ternyata terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 76,44% berada pada katagori sangat aktif. (2) implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA Kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data awal persentase hasil belajar siswa sebesar 52,94% , terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 76,47% berada pada katagori baik ternyata terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 88,23% berada pada katagori sangat baik. Jadi, simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dengan implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pembelajaran IPA, aktivitas, hasil belajar
This present study aimed (1) To investigating the improvement of student learning activities in the teaching and learning process with the implementation of problem-based learning in teaching science in IV grade of SD N 1Tigawasa academic year 2013/2014, (2) To improve the student learning outcomes after the implementation of problem based in teaching science in class IV of SD N 1Tigawasa in the academic year 2013/2014. This study is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class IV of SD N 1 Tigawasa in the academic Year2013/2014, there are 17 students. The data collection in this study was conducted using of observation and tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive-quantitative analysis method. The results showed that, (1) the implementation of problem-based learning can improve student learning activities in teaching science in class IV of SD N 1Tigawasa in the academic year 2013/2014. The data preliminary observation on percentage of students' learning activity by 52.5%, and increase in cycle I to 68.48% in the active category and increase in cycle II to 76.44% at the very active category. (2) The implementation of problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in science teaching Fourth Grade SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa Buleleng in the academic Year 2013/2014. The data The data preliminary on percentage of student learning outcomes at 52.94%, an increase in cycle I to 76.47% in the category of well that was an improvement in cycle II to 88.23% at the very good category. The conclusion of this study there is an improvement activity and student learning outcomes in learning science with the implementation of problem-based learning.
