PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD di Desa Yehembang Gugus IV Diponegoro Kecamatan Mendoyo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD di Desa Yehembang Kecamatan Mendoyo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 102 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Yehembang yang berjumlah 20 orang dan siswa kelas IV SDN 7 Yehembang yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk objektif. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model Mind Mapping dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional kelas IV SD di Desa Yehembang Gugus IV Diponegoro Kecamatan Mendoyo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Perbandingan hasil perhitungan rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model Mind Mapping adalah =13,70 lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model konvensional adalah =10,42. Hal ini berarti penerapan model Mind Mapping berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD di Desa Yehembang Gugus IV Diponegoro Kecamatan Mendoyo.Kata Kunci : model Mind Mapping, hasil belajar IPA
This reasearch is aims to describe the differences of learning outcomes among the group of pupil which use Mind Mapping learning method and the group of pupil which use conventional learning method on Natural Science Study Subjek in 4th grade elementary school in Diponogoro Cluster Distric Mendoyo,Yehembang Village. The type of reasearch is a quasi experimental reasearch.The population is 102 students of 4th grade elementary school in Yehembang Village Mendoyo Distric academic year 2013/2014. The sample on this reasearch is 20 students of 4th grade on Yehembang 3 Elementary School and 26 students of 4th grade on Yehembang 7 Elementary School.The data of learning outcome were collected using objective multiple-choice test. Collected data were analzyed using descriptive statistic and t-test inferential statistic. The result shown that were such a significant differences in learning outcomes between the student who take Mind Mapping method and the student who take conventional learning method in 4th grade of Cluster IV Diponogoro Mendoyo Distric academic year 2013/2014. Comparison of the average Natural Science learning outcomes who take Mind Mapping is =13,70 bigger than the average of Natural Science learning outcomes for student who take conventional learning method =10,42. It means the usage of Mind Mapping affect the learning outcomes ind 4th grade student on elementary school in Yehembang Village, Cluster IV Diponogoro, Mendoyo Distric.
