PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE 5E BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 4 PELIATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Peliatan yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E berbantuan media audio visual, (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Peliatan yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional dan (3) untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Peliatan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen, dengan desain Post Test Only Control Group Desaign. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN 4 Peliatan, dimana pada SD tersebut terdapat kelas paralel pada siswa kelas IV yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas IV A dengan jumlah 21 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IV B dengan jumlah 21 siswa sebagai kelompok Kontrol. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan teknik uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) deskripsi data hasil belajar IPA yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E berbantuan media audio visual cenderung tinggi dengan Mo > Me > M (23,25 > 21 > 20,423) dan kurva juling negatif, (2) deskripsi data hasil belajar IPA yang dibelajarkan melalui model konvensional cenderung rendah dengan Mo > Me > M (19 > 17,87 > 17,38) dan kurva juling negatif, (3) berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan rumus uji-t ditemukan bahwa thitung = 2,488 >ttabel= 2,021 sehingga terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E berbantuan media audio visual dan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas IV semester genap di SDN 4 Peliatan.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E, hasil belajar IPA
This study aims (1) to determine the results of the fourth grade students learn science in SDN 4 Peliatan that learned through 5E Learning Cycle learning model-assisted audio-visual media, (2) to assess learning outcomes IPA fourth grade students at SDN 4 Peliatan that learned through conventional teaching and (3) to determine significant differences between students' science learning outcomes that learned through 5E Learning Cycle model of learning with the students that learned through conventional teaching in the fourth grade students at SDN 4 Peliatan. The design of this study was Quasi Experiment, by design Post Test Only Control Group Desaign and research population is the entire fourth grade students at SDN 4 Peliatan, where the elementary school classroom are parallel to the fourth grade students are divided into two classes, namely class IV A with number of 21 students as the experimental group and class IV B with 21 students as the control group. Collecting data in this study was conducted using the test. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical techniques t-test. The results of this study found that: (1) a description of the data science learning outcomes that learned through 5E Learning Cycle learning model-assisted audio-visual media tends to be high with Mo> Me> M (23.25> 21> 20.423) and negative squint curve, (2 ) IPA data description learning outcomes that learned through conventional models tend to be low with Mo> Me> M (19> 17.87> 17.38) and negative squint curve, (3) based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test formula was found that of tobserved = 2.488> ttable = 2.021 so that there are differences in learning outcomes between the significant science students who take lessons with 5E Learning Cycle teaching model-assisted audio-visual media and students who take conventional learning models in the second semester of fourth grade students at SDN 4 Peliatan.
