PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional di kelas V SD Gugus V Kecamatan Sukasada. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas V SD No. 1 Panji dan siswa kelas V SD No. 2 Panji. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain post test only group control design dengan sembilan kelas populasi, dan sampel berjumlah 47 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA, dikumpulkan dengan metode tes berupa tes obyektif yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan stasistik deskriptif dan statistisk inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran group investigation dan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Perhitungan hasil analisis uji-t sampel tidak berkorelasi yaitu dimana, thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 5,82 > 2,014, dengan derajat kebebasan 45 dan rata-rata skor hasil belajar IPA siswa yang belajar dengan model group investigation pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 22,07 yang berada pada kategori tinggi sedangkan rata-rata skor hasil belajar IPA siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelompok kontrol adalah 15,90 yang berada pada kategori sedang.

This research purposed to know about the different of the sciences study result between student groups who join cooperative learning in group investigation type by student groups who join conventional learning in Fifth grade of elementary school in Fifth cluster of Sukasada substrict. This research involved the Fifth grade student of SD No.1 Panji and the fifth student of SD No.2 Panji. The type of this research is quasi experiment with post test only group control design by using nine class population and sample which contain of 47 students. The science study result, collected by objective test which analyzed by using statistic descriptive and statistic inferential that was uji-t. The research result shows that there is different of the sciences result study between student that study by using group investigation learning method and the student that study by using conventional learning method. The calculation of analyze result of uji-t, the sample was not connected where is implicitly higher than table that is 5,82 > 2,014, with the degrees of freedom is 45 and the average score of science study result by group investigation method in group experimenting is 22,07 which is placed in high category whereas the average score of science study result by conventional learning method of group controlling is 15,90 which is placed in medium category.
