PENERAPAN METODE PENEMUAN TERBIMBING BERPENDEKATAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK INDONESIA (PMRI) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas III semester II SD No 6 Sanur pada tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 setelah penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing berpendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI).Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus.Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, serta refleksi.Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III semester II SD No.6 Sanur pada tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang terdiri dari 42 orang siswa.Data hasil belajar Matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan tes berbentuk uraian yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing berpendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas III semester II SD No. 6 Sanurpada tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Pada observasi awal, rata-rata skor siswa hanya mencapai 55,36 dengan tingkat hasil belajar yang berada pada kategori rendah. Pada siklus I, rata-rata skor siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 66,24 dengan tingkat hasil belajar yang berada pada kategori sedang. Kemudian pada siklus II, rata-rata skor siswa meningkat menjadi 82,05 dengan tingkat hasil belajar yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Demikian pula ketuntasan belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 33% pada observasi awal menjadi 62% pada siklus I dan 86% pada siklus II.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci:Metode Penemuan Terbimbing, Pendekatan pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia, Hasil Belajar.
This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes Math third grade second semester Sanur SD No. 6 in the school year 2012/2013 after the application of the method of guided discovery approach Realistic Mathematics Education Indonesia (PMRI). This research is an action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation / evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students in the second semester of third grade elementary school lesson 6 Sanur in 2012/2013 which consisted of 42 students. Mathematics student learning outcomes data gathered through the test form description quantitatively analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the method of guided discovery berpendekatan Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) can improve student learning outcomes Math class second semester SD No. III. 6 Sanur in the school year 2012/2013. At the initial observation, the average score of students reached only 55.36 with the level of learning outcomes that are in the low category. In the first cycle, the average score of students has increased to 66.24 with the level of learning outcomes that are in the medium category. Then in the second cycle, the average scores of students increased to 82.05 with the level of learning outcomes that are in the high category. Similarly, mastery learning students also increased from 33% at baseline to 62% observed in the first cycle and 86% in the second cycle.
