PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING BERBANTUAN MEDIA LINGKUNGAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIFITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS III SEMESTER II SD NO 4 BANYUASRI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan media lingkungan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III yang terdiri dari 27 orang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan media lingkungan ternyata (1) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar IPA sebesar 16,67%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I bahwa persentase tingkat aktivitas siswa yaitu 65,55% dengan kriteria cukup aktif, ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 82,22% dengan kriteria aktif, dan (2) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA sebesar 12,44%. Hasil belajar siswa siklus I yaitu 69,63% dengan kriteria sedang, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 82,07% dengan kriteria tinggi.Kata Kunci : model Snowball Throwing, media lingkungan, aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar
This study aimed to determine the increase in the activity and improvement learning outcomes IPA of assisted learning model Snowball Throwing wake of media space. Type of research is a class act consisting of two cycles. The subjects were students of class III consisting of 27 people . Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis method . The results showed that the application of the model of media -assisted learning environment Snowball Throwing turns ( 1 ) can enhance science learning activities amounted to 16.67 % . Based on the results obtained in the first cycle that the percentage of the activity level of students is 65.55 % with the criteria quite active , it has increased in the second cycle becomes 82.22 % with active criteria , and ( 2 ) to improve learning outcomes IPA 12.44 % . The results of the first cycle of student learning is 69.63 % with moderate criteria, an increase in cycle II to 82.07 % with high criteria.
