Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran six thinking hats berbantuan LKS open-ended dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dan menggunakan desain non equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas V SD di Gugus X Kecamatan Buleleng. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD No. 1 Kaliuntu dan SD No. 2 Kaliuntu. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis dan data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui tes uraian serta melalui tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan ANAKOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD di Gugus X Kecamatan Buleleng antara kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran six thinking hats berbantuan LKS open-ended dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah (14,78>2,000), (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD di Gugus X Kecamatan Buleleng antara kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran six thinking hats berbantuan LKS open-ended dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran ceramah setelah keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dikendalikan (18,57>4,00), (3) terdapat kontribusi positif keterampilan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD di Gugus X Kecamatan Buleleng.

This study aims to determine the differences in outcomes between the groups social studies students learn to use the six thinking hats method aided learning worksheets open-ended with a group of students who learn to use the lecture method of teaching. This research is a quasi-experimental research and design using non-equivalent a post-test only control group design. The study population was a fifth grade elementary school in Class X Buleleng District. Samples were students of class V SD No. 1 Kaliuntu and SD No. 2 Kaliuntu. Data critical thinking skills and learning outcomes obtained through test description and through the multiple choice test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and Anacova one lane. The results of this study indicate that (1) there are differences in the results of social studies in the elementary school students of class V Gugus X Buleleng District between groups of students who study using six thinking hats method aided learning worksheets open-ended with a group of students attending a lecture teaching methods (14,78> 2.000), (2) there are differences in the results of social studies in the elementary school students of class V Gugus X Buleleng District between groups of students who study using six thinking hats method aided learning worksheets open-ended with a group of students who learn to use the lecture method of teaching critical thinking skills of students after controlled (18,57> 4.00), (3) there is a positive contribution to the result of critical thinking skills social studies fifth grade elementary school students in Gugus X Buleleng District.
