PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GI BERBANTUAN MEDIA TORSO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan media torso dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Sutomo, sebagai bentuk pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan media torso. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo berjumlah 264 orang siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD N 4 Sesetan yang berjumlah 40 orang siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD N 14 Sesetan yang berjumlah 35 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar IPA. Selanjutnya hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan pengujian statistik adalah uji beda mean (uji-t). Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan media torso dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil uji-t, dimana thit = 3,94 > ttabel =1,98. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan media torso lebih baik dari pada nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional yaitu = 75.92 > = 68.03. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh penerapan dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) berbantuan media torso terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo.

This study aims to know significant differences in learning outcomes of IPA between students who take the learning model Group Investigation (GI) media aided the torso with the students who following the conventional learning at the fifth grade SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo, as the effect of the application form learning model Group Investigation (GI) media aided the torso. This type of research was a quasi-experimental study with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all the fifth grade SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo totalled 264 students. Samples were taken with a random sampling technique. The samples in this research were the fifth grade students of SD N 4 Sesetan totaling 40 students as the experimental group and fifth grade students of SD N 14 Sesetan totaling 35 students as a control group. Data collection techniques used in this research using the test outcomes to learn IPA. Next test outcomes were analyzed using a statistical test is the test of the mean difference (t-test). The results of the analysis showed that there were significant differences in learning outcomes of IPA between students who take the learning model Group Investigation (GI) media aided the torso with the students who follow the conventional learning at the fifth grade SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo. It can be proved from the outcome of t-test, where thit = 3.94 > ttable = 1.98. The average value in learning outcomes of IPA students who take the learning model Group Investigation (GI) media aided the torso is better than the average value in learning outcomes of IPA students who take conventional learning = 75.92 > = 68.03. This means that has affected of the implementation learning model Group Investigation (GI) media aided the torso in learning outcome of IPA at the fifth grade SD Gugus 4 Dr. Sutomo.
