Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui pendekatan kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan siswa kelas V SD N 2 Blahbatuh

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa kelas V SD N 2 Blahbatuh, Kecamatan Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD N 2 Blahbatuh tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 40 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh dengan metode tes. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran PKn siswa kelas V SD N 2 Blahbatuh tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Hal ini terlihat rata – rata kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siklus I sebesar 71,02 dan pada siklus II rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat menjadi 81,30. Sedangkan persentase ketuntasan belajar pada siklus II yaitu 62,50% yang berada pada kategori rendah, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 82,50% berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pendekatan kooperatif tipe student teams achievement division dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan siswa kelas V SD N 2 Blahbatuh tahun ajaran 2013/2014.This study aims to determine the increase in critical thinking ability of fifth grade students of SD N 2 Blahbatuh, Gianyar District, Blahbatuh academic year 2013/2014. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each meeting begins with phase consists of planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. Subjects were fifth grade students of SD N 2 Blahbatuh academic year 2013/2014 a total of 40 students. Data collection in this study was conducted using a test. Data obtained by critical thinking ability of the test method. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques quantitative formula. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning with student teams achievement division typed can improve critical thinking ability in teaching civic education to fifth grade students of SD N 2 Blahbatuh academic year 2013/2014. This looks ability of learning average in the first cycle is 71.02 and the second cycle of learning average ability increased to 81.30. While the percentage of mastery learning on the first cycle is 62.50% which is in the low category, having enhancer in the second cycle to 82.50% in the high category. So the conclusion of this research is the application of cooperative learning with student teams achievement division typed can improve critical thinking ability in teaching civic education to fifth grade students of SD N 2 Blahbatuh academic year 2013
