Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas III SD Negeri 4 Banjar Semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri 4 Banjar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri 4 Banjar pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil belajar dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitiann analisis data daat disimpulkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III SD Negeri 4 Banjar semester I tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I 61,39 dengan kategori sedang dan siklus II 69,17 dengan kategori tinggi. Daya serap siklus I 61% dan siklus II 69%. Ketuntasan belajar siklus I 78,57% dan siklus II 88,89%. Hal ini terbukti telah melampaui dari yang diharapkan yaitu rata-rata 56 dengan kategori tinggi, daya serap 56%, dan ketuntasan klasikal 85%.

This study was aimed at finding out the improvement in science learning achievement of the third grade students at SD Negeri 4 Banjar in the 2014/2015 academic year after implementing think pair share cooperative learning model. This study was a classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects were the third grade students of SD Negeri 4 Banjar in the odd semester of the 2014/2015 academic year. Test method was used to collect data on learning achievement and analyzed descriptive-qualitatively. Based on the results and data analysis it can be concluded that the implementation of think pair share cooperative learning model could improve the science learning achievement of the third grade students of SD Negeri 4 Banjar in the first semester in the 2014/205 academic year. This is shown by the average score in learning achievement of 61.39 in cycle I ( falling into medium category) and 69% in cycle II. The completeness level of learning was 78.57% in cycle I and became 88.89% in cycle II. This has proven to exceed the expected average of 56 (falling into high category, absorption level of 56%, and classical completeness level of learning of 85%.
