PENERAPANAN METODE PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR BERSERI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS NARASI

Tujuan dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas III semester genap SDN 6 Kubutambahan Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 setelah penerapanan metode picture and picture berbantuan media gambar berseri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mencermati kegiatan proses pembelajaran, dan menemukan permasalahan yang terdapat baik dari perencanaan, proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Dari permasalahan tersebut, kemudian diberikan suatu tindakan sebagai upaya memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran data tentang hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes penugasan hasil belajar data dianalisis secara deskriptif penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 6 Kubutambahan Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN 6 Kubutambahan Kecamatan Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang yang terdiri dari 14 siswa putra dan 16 siswa putri. Rancangan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk siklus-siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/ evaluasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan hasil-hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa " penerapanan metode picture and picture berbantuan media gambar berseri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas III semester genap SDN 6 Kubutambahan Kabupaten Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan pada siklus I keterampilan menulis narasi bahasa indonesia siswa yang dicapai siswa rata-rata kelas sebesar 65 dengan katagori sedang sedangkan KB 70% meningkat ke siklus II keterampilan menulis narasi siswa yang dicapai siswa rata-rata kelas sebesar 77 dengan katagori tinggi, sedangkan KB yang dicapai pada siklus II sebesar 90%.Kata Kunci : metode picture and picture, gambar berseri, keterampilan menulis.
The purpose of this study was to identify the improvement of narrative writing skill of third grade students in odd semester of SD N 6 Kubutambahan, Kubutambahan district, Buleleng regency, in academic year 2014/2015 after the implementation of picture and picture method assisted by picture series media. This study was classroom action based research. The study was done by watching teaching learning process, and finding the problems occur whether in planning, process, and the learning outcomes. The problems were given a treatment as an effort to improve the learning quality. The data of students’ learning outcomes were obtained by using achievement test method. The data were analyzed descriptively. The study was done at SD N 6 Kubutambahan, Kubutambahan district, Buleleng regency. The subject of the study was student class III of SD N 6 Kubutambahan, Kubutambahan district, Buleleng regency with the number of students were 30 students consisted of 14 male students and 16 female students. The research design was done in the form of cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. Based on the data analysis and the discussion of findings, it can be concluded that “the implementation of picture and picture method assisted by picture series media improved narrative writing skill of Bahasa Indonesia subject of student class III in odd semester of SD N 6 Kubutambahan, Kubutambahan district, Buleleng regency, in academic year 2014/2015. It can be proved on cycle I, in which the average of students’ narrative writing skill was 65 which are categorized as moderate category, while KB was 70% improved to the cycle II, in which the average of students’ narrative writing skill was 77 with high category and KB was 90%.
