PENERAPAN MIND MAPPING DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKn DAN PENGETAHUAN METAKOGNITIF TEMA CITA-CITAKU PADA SISWA KELAS IVA SD NEGERI 1 TONJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn; (2) meningkatkan pengetahuan metakognitif tema cita-citaku pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 1 Tonja, Denpasar Utara, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 melalui penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik.Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVA yang berjumlah 28 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki dan 11 siswa perempuan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata hasil belajar PKn 10,07% dengan peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal 14,28%. Pada siklus I diperoleh persentase rata-rata siswa 73,32% dikategorikan sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikan 67,86%, dan pada siklus II diperoleh persentase rata-rata siswa 83,39% dikategorikan tinggi dengan ketuntasan klasikal 82,14%. Sedangkan, untuk pengetahuan metakognitif, terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata siswa 8,14%. Pada siklus I diperoleh persentase rata-rata 63,75% dengan kategori rendah, dan pada siklus II diperoleh persentase rata-rata 71,89% dengan kategori sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn dan pengetahuan metakognitif tema cita-citaku pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 1 Tonja, Denpasar Utara, tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : mind mapping, pendekatan saintifik, hasil belajar PKn, pengetahuan metakognitif.
This study aims to (1) improve the result of civic education; (2) improve metacognitive knowledge with topic my idea in the fourthA grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tonja, North of Denpasar, in academic year 2014/2015 with mind mapping in scientific approach application. The design of this study was classroom action research in two cycles. Each cycle was consisted of four steps such as planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study were fourthA grade students, as many as 28 students they consisted of 17 male and 11 female. To collect data in this study was used test method. Data was obtained then was analyzed with descriptive-quantitative and qualitative analyzed. The result of the study show to improve average percentage the result of civic education is 10,07% and improve the classical complete percentage is 14,28%. In the first cycle to the result of civic education show students average percentage is 73,32% in medium category with classical complete is 67,86%, and in the second cycle show student average percentage is 83,39% in high category with classical complete is 82,14%. Meanwhile for metacognitive knowledge, improve student average percentage is 8,14%. In the first cycle show students average percentage is 63,75% in low category, and in the second cycle show student average percentage is 71,89% in medium category. So that in conclusion that the application mind mapping in scientific approach improve the result of civic education and metacognitive knowledge with topic my idea in the fourthA grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tonja, North of Denpasar, in Academic Year 2014/2015.
