Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek pada tema Cita-citaku. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri Denpasar Utara yang terdiri dari 34 siswa. Sedangkan obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Data hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dikumpulkan melalui metode tes. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif Pada pra siklus rata-rata hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA siswa adalah 70,79. Kemudian pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA menjadi 78,2. Dan pada siklus II kembali terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA yaitu menjadi 83,38. Untuk kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada siklus I skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa adalah 86,59 Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa menjadi 92.15. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan Saintifik dengan Penilaian Projek, hasil belajar, pengetahuan IPA, Berpikir kreatif.
Abstract This classroom action research aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes of science and creative thinking ability by applying scientific approach with project assessment on the theme “Cita-citaku”. This study consisted of two cycles. Subjects of this study were students in IV B class of SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri North Denpasar which consists of 34 students. The object of this research was the learning outcomes of science and creative thinking abilities students. The data of the learning results of science and creative thinking abilities of students were collected through test method. The collected data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive analysis method. On pre-cycle, the average of students’ learning outcomes of science was 70.79. Then, on the first cycle, it occur improvement in the average of science learning becoming 78.2. On the second cycle, there were improvements again in the average of science learning from the first cycle becomes 83.38 . For creative thinking abilities of students on the first cycle, the average score was 86.59. Then, on the second cycle, it occur improvement in the average ability to think creatively becoming 92.15. So, it could be concluded that scientific approach with project assessment can improve students’ learning outcomes of science and their creative thinking abilities.
