Penerapan Pendekatan Saintifik Dengan Penilaian Projek Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Keterampilan Dan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep IPA Tema Cita-Citaku Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri, setelah diterapkan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri yang berjumlah 34 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi untuk mengetahui hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dan tes uraian untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata hasil belajar keterampilan IPA sebesar 14,71% dari 65,29% pada siklus I menjadi 80% pada siklus II. Terjadi peningkatan persentase rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA sebesar 17,41% dari 65,19% pada siklus I menjadi 82,60% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPA tema cita-citaku siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri.Kata Kunci : saintifik, projek, keterampilan IPA, konsep IPA.
The aim of this research was to improve the learning outcomes of scientific skills and science conceptual understanding ability of grade 4 students at SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri. “My Future Goal” was the theme for the scientific approach and projects based assessments that were applied. This research was a class action study conducted in two cycles to improve the learning process. The subject of the research was the grade 4 students of SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri with the total number of 34 students. Observations were used as the method to collect data for this study. The observations were used to determine the objective; to find out the learning outcomes of scientific study skills and essay tests to be applied in the conceptual understanding and abilities in science. The data was then analyzed by using quantitative descriptive technique. The result of the research shows that there is an increasing percentage of scientific study skills outcomes average totaling 14,71% from 65,29% on the first cycle to 80% on the second cycle. There is also an increasing percentage in science conceptual understanding ability totaling 17,41% from 65,19% on the first cycle to 82,60% on the second cycle. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of scientific approach using project based assessment can improve the scientific learning skills outcomes and the science conceptual understanding ability of grade 4 students at SD Negeri Dauh Puri with “My Future Goal” as the theme.
