PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN PENILAIAN PROYEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KETERAMPILAN IPS DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP TEMA CITA-CITAKU SISWA KELAS IVA SD NEGERI 2 PADANGSAMBIAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPS dan (2) meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek pada tema cita-citaku. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 39 orang. Data hasil belajar keterampilan IPS diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan data kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dikumpulkan melalui tes berbentuk uraian. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPS siswa. Dari refleksi awal diketahui rata-rata hasil belajar keterampilan IPS siswa sebesar 62,82 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 41,03%. Pada akhir siklus I rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 70,51 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 79,49%. Hasil belajar keterampilan IPS siswa kembali meningkat pada siklus II yaitu menjadi 81,20 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 94,87%. (2) Kemampuan pemahaman konsep juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada refleksi awal diketahui rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 62,22. Pada akhir siklus I rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 75,81 kemudian pada siklus II rata-rata meningkat menjadi 81,45. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPS dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep tema cita-citaku pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian, kecamatan Denpasar Barat tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, penilaian proyek, hasil belajar keterampilan, kemampuan pemahaman konsep
This study aims to (1) improve learning outcomes of social skills and (2) to improve students' understanding of concepts through the application of scientific approach with assessment project on the theme of my goal. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students in the IVA class of SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian in academic year 2014/2015 consisting of 39 persons. Learning outcomes of social skills data obtained using observation and understanding of the concept of student capability data collected through the essay test. Data collected quantitatively analyzed descriptively. Results showed (1) the apllication of scientific approach with assesment project is proven to improve learning outcomes of social skills. From the early reflections known to the average learning outcomes of social skills at 62,82 with 41,03% classical completeness. At the end of the first cycle students’ average increased to 70,51 with 79,49% classical completeness. Learning outcomes of social skills to increase again in the second cycle that becomes 81,20 with 94,87% classical completeness. (2) The ability of understanding the concept also increased. On early reflections known to the average the ability of understanding the concept at 62,22. At the end of the first cycle students’ average increased to 75,81 after the second cycle of the average increased to 81,45. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of a scientific approach with assessment project can improve learning outcomes of social skills and students’ understanding of concepts on theme of my goal subject of students class IVA of SD Negeri 2 Padangsambian, West Denpasar district, in academic year 2014/2015.
