PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN PENILAIAN PROYEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KETERAMPILAN IPA DAN KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN TEMA CITA-CITAKU SISWA KELAS IVA SDP NEGERI TULANGAMPIANG DENPASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dan (2) Kemampuan penalaran siswa, dimana kedua variabel terikat ini ditingkatkan melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek pada siswa kelas IVA SD Pembina Negeri Tulangampiang Denpasar. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA sebanyak 31 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 19 siswa perempuan. Data mengenai hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan data hasil kemampuan penalaran siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes. Kedua data ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata persentase hasil belajar keterampilan IPA secara klasikal yaitu 77,42% pada siklus I dengan kategori “sedang” dan pada siklus II menjadi 93,55% dengan kategori “sangat tinggi”. Sedangkan untuk hasil kemampuan penalaran siswa diperoleh rata-rata persentase secara klasikal yaitu 64,52% pada siklus I dengan kategori “sedang” dan pada siklus II menjadi 80,65% dengan kategori “tinggi”. Dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA sebesar 16,13% dari siklus I ke siklus II kemudian kemampuan penalaran siswa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 16,13% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Dengan demikian, hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dan kemampuan penalaran siswa mengalami peningkatan melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian proyek pada siswa kelas IVA SD Pembina Negeri Tulangampiang Denpasar.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, penilaian proyek, hasil belajar keterampilan IPA, dan kemampuan penalaran siswa.
This research aims to (1) Improve learning outcomes science skills and (2) Improve student’s reasoning ability, where both of this variable is enhanced through the application of scientific approach to the assessment of the project at IVA grade students of SD Pembina Negeri Tulangampiang Denpasar. The type of this research is a Class Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class IVA grade students of SD Pembina Negeri Tulangampiang Denpasar as many as 31 students consisting of 12 male students and 19 female students. Data of learning outcomes science skills were collected using the method of observation and data of student’s reasoning ability were collected using the test method. Both of these data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive method. Based on the analyzed of data obtained by the average percentage of learning outcomes science skills in the classical are 77.42% in the first cycle with the category of "moderate" and the second cycle into 93.55% the category of "very high". As for the results of student’s reasoning ability obtained by the average percentage in the classical are 64.52% in the first cycle with the category of "moderate" and the second cycle into 80.65% by category "high". We can conclude there was an increase of learning outcomes science skills for 16.13% from the first cycle to the second cycle and then, there was an increase also of student’s reasoning ability are 16.13% from the first cycle to the second cycle. Thus, learning outcomes science skills and student’s reasoning ability has increased through the application of scientific approach to the assessment of the project at IVA grade students of SD Pembina Negeri Tulangampiang Denpasar.
