PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN IPA TEMA TEMPAT TINGGALKU SISWA KELAS IV DITINJAU DARI KARAKTERISTIK PERTANYAAN GURU DI SD NEGERI GUGUS UNTUNG SURAPATI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik menggunakan pertanyaan abstrak (imajinatif), siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik menggunakan pertanyaan konkret (faktual), dan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik yang konvensional pada tema Tempat Tinggalku kelas IV SD Negeri Gugus Untung Surapati. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri di Gugus Untung Surapati Denpasar Timur. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik random sampling dengan mengundi kelas-kelas yang setara, sehingga diperoleh sampel SDN 9 Sumerta, SDN 4 Sumerta, dan SDN 6 Sumerta. Data hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa, kemudian dianalisis dengan anava satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik menggunakan pertanyaan abstrak (imajinatif), siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik menggunakan pertanyaan konkret (faktual), dan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan saintifik yang konvensional. Dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen 2 lebih tinggi daripada kelompok eksperimen 1 maupun kelompok kontrol (72,30 > 60,60 > 58,32). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel (7,93 > 3,08) dengan dbpembilang = 2, dan dbpenyebut = 110 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA tema Tempat Tinggalku siswa kelas IV ditinjau dari karakteristik pertanyaan guru di SD Negeri Gugus Untung Surapati.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, pertanyaan abstrak (imajinatif), pertanyaan konkret (faktual), hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA
This research purpose is to determine significant differences in science learning outcomes between the student’s who learned through scientific approach by using abstract (imaginative) questions, the student’s who learned through scientific approach by using concrete (factual) questions, and the student’s who learned through conventional scientific approach in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Gugus Untung Surapati. This research was a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Gugus Untung Surapati East Denpasar. The samples were determined by random sampling technique with randomize the equivalent classes in order to obtain samples SDN 9 Sumerta, SDN 4 Sumerta, and SDN 6 Sumerta. The data about science learning outcomes were collected by using a regular multiple choice objective test, then analyzed by one way anova. The results showed that there were significant differences in science learning outcomes between the student’s who learned through scientific approach by using abstract (imaginative) questions, the student’s who learned through scientific approach using concrete (factual) questions, and the students who learned through conventional scientific approach. Judging from the average value of experimental group 2 higher than the first experimental group or the control group (72.30 > 60.60 > 58.32). Based on the analysis results obtained Fcount > Ftable (7,93 > 3,08) with dbnumerator = 2 and dbdenomirator = 110 at significance level of 5% so that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there are effect of scientific approach towards science learning outcomes theme “Tempat Tinggalku” of fourth grade student in terms of the characteristics of teacher questions at SD Negeri Gugus Untung Surapati.
