PENGARUH PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENGETAHUAN IPA TEMA TEMPAT TINGGALKU PADA SISWA KELAS IV DITINJAU DARI JENIS PERTANYAAN GURU DI SD GUGUS I GUSTI NGURAH RAI KECAMATAN DENPASAR TIMUR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan Saintifik menggunakan pertanyaan terbuka, siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan Saintifik menggunakan pertanyaan tertutup dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan Saintifik yang konvensional tema Tempat Tinggalku pada siswa kelas IV SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Kecamatan Denpasar Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) dengan desain yang digunakan adalah “Non Equivalent Control Group Design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai kecamatan Denpasar Timur. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik random sampling dengan mengundi kelas-kelas yang setara, sehingga diperoleh sampel SDN 3 Penatih, SDN 6 Penatih dan SDN 5 Penatih (IVA). Hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes uraian yang kemudian dianalisis dengan Anava Satu Jalur (One Way-Anova). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan Anava satu jalur diperoleh Fhitung = 6.806 dan Ftabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% =3.09. Sehingga Fhitung>Ftabel (6.806>3.09) artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dilihat dari nilai rata-rata, hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA yang diperoleh menggunakan pertanyaan terbuka lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA yang diperoleh menggunakan pertanyaan tertutup maupun yang konvensional, dan hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA yang diperoleh menggunakan pertanyaan tertutup lebih rendah daripada yang konvensional (77.16 > 70 < 70.45). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Saintifik ditinjau dari Jenis pertanyaan guru berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA tema Tempat Tinggalku pada siswa kelas IV di SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai Kecamatan Denpasar Timur.Kata Kunci : pendekatan Saintifik, pertanyaan terbuka, pertanyaan tertutup, hasil belajar pengetahuan IPA
This research purpose were to know the significant difference of science learning outcomes between the student’s who learned through scientific approach by using open-ended questions with the student’s who learned through scientific approach by using closed questions, and the students who learned through conventional scientific approach on the theme of “Tempat Tinggalku” in the fourth grade at SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai East Denpasar. This research was a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was all of fourth grade students at SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai East Denpasar. The sample was determined by random sampling technique with randomizes the equivalent classes in order to obtain samples SDN 3 Penatih, SDN 6 Penatih, and SDN 5 Penatih (IVA). The data about science learning outcomes were collected by using essay test, then analyzed by one way anova. The results showed that there are significant differences. Obtained by one way anova Fcount = 6.806 and Ftable at a significance level of 5% =3.09. So that Fcount > Ftable (6.806>3.09) this means H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Seen from the mean science learning outcomes obtained by using open-ended questions higher than science learning outcomes obtained by using closed questions and conventional, then science learning outcomes obtained by using closed questions lower than conventional (77.16 > 70 < 70.45). So it can be concluded that the application of the scientific approach in terms of the types of teacher questions affected the science learning outcomes theme of “Tempat Tinggalku” in the fourth grade students at SD Gugus I Gusti Ngurah Rai East Denpasar.
