PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DENGAN PENILAIAN PROJEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KETERAMPILAN IPA DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA TEMA CITA-CITAKU SISWA KELAS IVC SD NEGERI 22 DAUH PURI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian Projek, (2) meningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian Projek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVC SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 35 orang, 18 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Data tentang hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi berupa rubrik penilaian, sedangkan data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar keterampilan IPA mengalami peningkatan dari 59,42 pada pra siklus yang tergolong kategori cukup menjadi 73,14 pada siklus I yang tergolong kategori baik dan pada akhirnya dapat mencapai criteria yang sangat baik menjadi 82,0 pada siklus II. Sementara rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 77,11 pada siklus I yang tergolong kategori cukup menjadi 82,8 pada siklus II dengan kategori tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian Projek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IVC SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek, hasil Belajar Keterampilan IPA dan motivasi belajar
This study is aimed at (1) improving the result of science skill through the implementation of scientific approach and project assessment, (2) improving the students’ learning motivation through the implementation of scientific approach and project assessment. This study was an action-based classroom research that was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study were IVC grade students in SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri in the academic year 2014/2015, with the total number of the students were 35 students, 18 males and 17 females. The data of the students’ science skill result were gained through the observation sheet in the form of assessment rubric, meanwhile the data of students’ learning motivation obtained through the questionnaire. The data were analyzed with analysis method descriptive quantitative. The result showed that the mean score of the students’ science skill was improved from 59.42 in pre-cycle which was categorized enough became 73.14 in cycle I which was categorized good, and finally the students’ mean score could reach a very good category became 82.0 in cycle II. Meanwhile, the mean score of the students’ learning motivation also improved from 77.11 in cycle I, which was categorized enough became 82.8 in cycle II with high category. From the result of the study, it could be concluded that the implementation of scientific approach and project assessment could improved the result of the students’ skill in science and their learning motivation in IVC grade students at SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri in the academic year 2014/2015.
