Penerapan Pendekatan Saintifik dengan Penilaian Projek Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Keterampilan IPA dan Kemampuan Berkomunikasi Tema Cita-Citaku Siswa Kelas IVA SDN 2 Dangin Puri

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA siswa kelas IVA SDN 2 Dangin Puri tahun ajaran 2014/2015 setelah penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek; dan (2) meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa kelas IVA SDN 2 Dangin Puri tahun ajaran 2014/2015 setelah penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas kelas IVA SDN 2 Dangin Puri yang berjumlah 33 orang yang terdiri dari 19 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Data hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan: (1) terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dari ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal sebesar 51,51% pada siklus I menjadi 81,81% yang berada pada siklus II; dan (2) terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berkomunikasi secara klasikal yaitu dari nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 64,96 pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 80,02 pada siklus II. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dengan penilaian projek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan IPA dan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa kelas IVA SDN 2 Dangin Puri tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : pendekatan saintifik, penilaian projek, keterampilan ipa, dan kemampuan berkomunikasi
This research aims to (1) improve learning outcomes science skills for the IVA grade students of SDN 2 Dangin Puri in the academic year 2014/2015 after the application of the scientific approach to the assessment of the project; and (2) improve communication skills for IVA grade students of SDN 2 Dangin Puri in the academic year 2014/2015 after the application of a scientific approach to the assessment of the project. This type of research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation / evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the IVA grade students of SDN 2 Dangin Puri for about 33 people consisting of 19 male students and 14 female students. Data science learning outcomes skills and communication skills of students were collected by interview and observation. Data were collected and analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed: (1) an increase in learning outcomes science skills of students' mastery of the classical learning outcomes of 51.51% in the first cycle to 81.81%, which is on the second cycle; (2) an increase in the ability to communicate in the classical style that is of value class average of 64.96 in the first cycle and increased to 80.02 in the second cycle. From these results it can be concluded that the application of a scientific approach to the assessment of the project to improve learning outcomes science skills and communication skills IVA grade students of SDN 2 Dangin Puri academic year 2014/2015.
