PENERAPAN MIND MAPPING DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKN DAN PENGETAHUAN KONSEPTUAL DENGAN TEMA CITA-CITAKU PADA SISWA KELAS IVB SD NEGERI 24 PEMECUTAN

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn melalui penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik dan (2) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan konseptual melalui penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 24 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 33 siswa dengan 18 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Data hasil belajar PKn dan pengetahuan konseptual dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pra siklus diperoleh persentase rata-rata hasil belajar PKn sebesar 66,51% dikategorikan sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 54,54%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran, pada siklus I diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 76,15% dikategorikan sedang dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 72,72%, dan pada siklus II diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 85,7% dikategorikan tinggi dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90,90%. Sementara itu, pengetahuan konseptual siswa pada siklus I diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 70,85% dengan kategori sedang, dan pada siklus II diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 84,45% dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, penerapan mind mapping dalam pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn dan pengetahuan konseptual pada siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 24 Pemecutan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : mind mapping, saintifik, hasil belajar PKn, dan pengetahuan konseptual.
The aimed of this study was (1) to improve Civics learning outcomes through the implementation of mind mapping in the scientific approach and (2) to improve the conceptual knowledge through the implementation of mind mapping in the scientific approach. This study was a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class IVB in SD Negeri 24 Pemecutan Academic Year 2014/2015 amounted to 33 students with 18 male and 15 female students. The data of Civics learning outcomes and conceptual knowledge collected by test method. The data have collected were analyzed by quantitative descriptive statistic analysis. The result of this study show that pre-cycle obtained an average percentage of Civics learning outcomes of 66.51% were categorized as medium with classical completeness of 54.54%. When repaired the learning process, in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 76.15% were categorized as medium with classical completeness of 72.72%, and the second cycle obtained an average percentage of 85.7% categorized as high with classical completeness of 90.90%. Meanwhile the conceptual knowledge of students, in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 70.85% in the medium category, and the second cycle obtained an average percentage of 84.45% with a high category. It can be concluded that, the implementation of mind mapping in the scientific approach can improve Civics learning outcomes and conceptual knowledge on the IVB grade students of SD Negeri 24 Pemecutan Academic Year 2014/2015.
