PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERBASIS ASESMEN PORTOFOLIO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA DAN PENGETAHUAN FAKTUAL SISWA PADA TEMA CITA-CITAKU KELAS IV SDN 2 PADANGSAMBIAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang teridentifikasi di kelas IV SDN 2 Padangsambian yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA dan pengetahuan faktual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dan pengetahuan faktual siswa pada tema cita-citaku kelas IV SDN 2 Padangsambian melalui pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Padangsambian tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 38 siswa terdiri dari siswa laki-laki 23 dan siswa perempuan 15. Data hasil belajar IPA dan pengetahuan faktual siswa dikumpulkan dengan tes hasil belajar. Data hasil belajar IPA dan pengetahuan faktual yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik berbasis asesmen portofolio dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Padangsambian tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 mengalami peningkatan dari siklus satu ke siklus dua yaitu dari nilai rata-rata 70,13 pada siklus satu meningkat menjadi rata-rata 83,82 pada siklus dua, dengan demikian dari siklus satu ke siklus dua untuk hasil belajar IPA mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 13,69% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 84,21%. Untuk hasil belajar faktual mengalami peningkatan dari siklus satu ke siklus dua yaitu dari nilai rata-rata 71,18 pada siklus satu meningkat menjadi rata-rata 82,24 pada siklus dua, dengan demikian dari siklus satu ke siklus dua untuk hasil belajar pengetahuan faktual mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 11,06% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 84,21%.

This research is based on the existence of the problems that emerge in Class IV SDN 2 Padangsambian that is the minimum result of the student learning in science subject study and factual knowledge learning. This research is aimed to increase the result of science subject study and student factual knowledge with the theme of My Dream at IV Class SDN 2 Padangsambian through scientific approach which is based on portfolio assessment. This kind of research is Class proceeding research which is consisted of two cycles. Every cycle consist of 4 phases that are planning, proceeding, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is the students of IV class SDN 2 Padangsambian in 2014/2015 academic year with 38 participants 23 boys and 15 girls. The result data of Science subject study and student factual knowledge is collected with a study result test. The result data of science subject study and student factual knowledge that has been collected and analyzed by using quantitative descriptive method. The result of this research shows that by using a scientific approach based on portfolio assessment could increase the result of science subject study of IV class student at SDN 2 Padangsambian in 2014/2015 academic year in which there is an increasing cycle from the first cycle to the second cycle that is averages of 70.13 in the first cycle moves up to averages of 83,82 in the second cycle. So it could be seen that there is increasing in science subject study's result from the first cycle to the second cycle at 13,69% with classical completeness of 84.21%. For the result of factual study get increasing from the first cycle to the second cycle with average of 71.18 in the first cycle increase to average of 82.24 in the second cycle. So it shows that from the first cycle to the second cycle there an increase of 11.06% with classical completeness of 84.21%
